- Sign your letter. Leave about two or three spaces after the closing greeting and type your name. Below your name, state what your job title is. Above your typed name, make sure that you affix your signature.

- If you are going to print your resignation letter, make sure you make use of good quality paper that will not easily get crumpled. A 20lb paper would be great for this letter.
