Essential Responsibilities of a Medical Billing/Coding Specialist

  • Evaluates patients’ financial status and establishes budget payment plans
  • Follows and reports status of delinquent account
  • Prepares and submits clean claims to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper

Qualifications of a Medical Billing/Coding Specialist
