Most companies check on a potential employee’s background before he or she can be hired. Currently, there are no laws that prohibit employers from divulging on their employee’s work history. Most of the time, a current employer will check on an employee’s history such as previous job title and job description, the dates of employment, and, of course, the previous salary.
