Responsibilities of a High School Coach

A high school coach is an expert on the rules and regulations of any sport they focus on and they teach the students how to play that type of sport. Sometimes, they also teach physical education to students too. A coach decides which students are qualified to make a particular sports team by holding tryouts for athletes and training during the preseason matches. Furthermore, they strategically assign student-athletes on what positions they have in their team based on their skills, make game strategies, and design practice skills to equip students with enough knowledge on how to play the sport and win the match.  A coach also guides the students in every game match and analyzes them to identify which areas these students should improve on.

How to Make a High School Coach Contract

1. Employment Period

The first section of the contract must state important details regarding the employment period of the coach such as the type of employment (part-time or full-time) the teacher has, the date when the coach is hired, and up until the date when their contract expires. 2. Working Hours
