The following job functions that an admin assistant does are the following:
- Organizing and Documenting Files
This includes keeping and profiling all the important files of the company and this includes confidential documents, sample cover letters from applicants, work job orders, and any other inventory paperwork.

Most of the time, the admin assistant takes the front when facing with some clients. There are times that they take on the boss’ place when it could not make around with the client meeting. It is important the the admin assistant should be ready for such instances.
- Organizes Scheduling Appointments
As a secretary, they are also entitled to keep check with their boss’ schedule and keep reminding them with their appointments.
- Organize Special Events
Aside from organizing appointments and other schedules, they are also asked to organize special events and take care of the other things that will be needed from it such as event venues, food, and other activities that need to be in the event.
