What is a Higher Education Lesson Plan?

A higher education plan is a structured plan filled with specific ideas, prioritized goals, learning activities, and strategies that are developed to help college or university students further improve their skills in different subject areas in their selected academic course or degree such as mathematics, science, English, etc. This plan acts as a written guide for the teacher at school on how he or she will provide proper support the students need so that they can reach their goals and achievements in their studies.

3. Sequence your lessons logically 

Thomas Berry said that there is an existence of sequence in the formation of the land sphere, the atmosphere, the water sphere, and the life sphere, which all have some notable interaction with one another in shaping the Earth.  Likewise, you need to sequence your lessons logically so that each lesson can create meaningful connections from one another and may reach your students to do their best in their studies.

4. Establish a realistic timeline

Narrow down the list to two or three main concepts, ideas, or skills that you want for your students to enhance or obtain and adjust your lesson plan during your class depending on the needs of your students as recommended by The Center For Research On Learning and Teaching University of Michigan.  Plus, establish a realistic timeline by estimating the time duration of each activity and plan extra time for each accurately.
