  • First, decide on the purpose of your task checklist. Will you be using it for work, for a specific project, for house task, college tasks, or for personal things? You can create separate task checklists for different purposes or you can also create only one task checklist for all your tasks.

Downloading ready-made task checklists is easy, convenient, and time-saving. The downside to this is that you cannot make major changes to the checklist or you might not get everything you want in it.
  • Make a draft of the tasks that you need to write in the checklist and those that you want to include in it. Instead of writing your task directly to the final cover sheet or final template, making a draft first allows you to have a task checklist that is neat and free of erasures. It also allows you to add additional tasks that come to mind while you are preparing your final checklist.
