Notice forms are documents that are utilized by organizations or individuals for various purposes. The essential purpose of a notice form is to notify another party (e.g. an individual or an organization) regarding a specific concern that affects both the notifier and the notified. A notice form could be served in a corporate setting, as well as in the private setting.
Importance of Notice Forms
- A notice form allows another party to clearly state the information that he/she wants to communicate to the other party. Indeed, a lot can be lost in verbal communication. Even the use of formal letters is sometimes ineffective in delivering all the information that are relevant to the issue, which is the subject of the letter. The reason for this is due to the fact that letters are usually narrative in form and thus, does not provide the notifier a sufficient platform for categorizing the information that needs to be laid down in an organized way through the use of tabular columns and rows.
- A notice form allows another party the opportunity to respond to the content of the notification. Since notice forms are naturally served in a timely manner, it also allows the person notified sufficient time to weigh his/her options regarding the manner with which he/she can respond to the notification.
- A notice form can serve as evidence or proof in court litigations. Since notice forms are standardized documents within organizations or in between private individuals who are bound in an agreement or contract, it is then a legally acceptable form of evidence should there be legal claims arising due to the subsequent inaction or bad faith of either party after the service of the notice.
- A notice form allows persons and organizations to track down their activities. Since notice forms are standard documents, it is easier to keep these in an organized file system that can be accessed easily by the persons involved or concerned.
- A notice form strengthens the bond between the notifier and the notified. Since notice forms are formal in nature, it naturally contains a terse and polite tone thus evoking an aura of professionalism in whatever transaction, agreement, or professional relationship between the two parties involved in the notification. Hence, it encourages professionalism between both parties.
