Land-lording is a serious business hence, a lot of landlords are often skeptic about allowing a tenant to rent out a leased property or a rental unit unless thorough screening and identity verification has been done. One process of screening and verifying a tenant’s identity is through recommendation letters.

A landlord recommendation letter is a letter coming from either a previous or a current landlord, a friend, or an employer. It is important that the person giving out the recommendation can actually vouch for the tenant’s credibility and guarantee that the applicant is reliable, dependable, and responsible enough to pay his rental dues and make sure that the property stays in mint condition.
