Why Are Invoices Important?
Well, the importance of an invoice can be classified as a means of keeping track of payment made and to be made for services rendered by the company to the client; however, as the exact function of an invoice has been stated already, the secondary function of an invoice is that it can behave as an unofficial receipt of purchase or transactions, and depending on the type of format used, they could have other functions. When Is an Invoice Generated or Needed?

What Is a Deposit Invoice?
A deposit invoice is basically the company’s means of insurance when transporting products to a client, especially if it’s their first time doing so. A deposit invoice doubles as a type of contractual agreement in which the two parties agree that the purchaser agrees to pay a certain amount of the cost in advance before the seller begins transporting the products.
When the products is successfully transferred to the buyer, the buyer will then pay the remaining amount in the balance. This kind of transaction method is not uncommon. To be exact, several shipping companies perform this method of transaction to prevent complete loss of profit and to have funding for the transportation of the products or services.
Now, Sales Invoice Templates behave somewhat similarly to the deposit invoice; however, the difference is in method of payment. There are several types of invoices and in different formats like invoices Doc, invoices word, and Invoices Excel. Of the three types, it can be said that the easiest one to create would be invoices in Excel format.
