How to Write a Contract Agreement Letter
The contract agreement that you give your clients can come in the form of a letter. A contract agreement letter contains all the elements found in any contract agreement and functions the same way a normal contract agreement does, only in letter form. A contract agreement letter, then, is legally binding. Writing a contract agreement letter is very much like writing any other kind of letter. All the elements found in a formal letter needs to be there—the heading, body of the letter, salutations, both opening and closing, name, and signature. How to Write a Contract between Two Individuals
A contract by definition is an arrangement between two or more parties. This means all parties involved need to come up with terms that all parties agree with. To write a contract between two individuals, figure out whether you can write it on your own or you need to seek legal help. As a contract is a legal document, consulting a lawyer would help you come up with a stronger contract that holds up in court. You can do a contract by yourself though. Just make sure that all the elements needed in a contract to be legally binding are present. A Lease Contract, for example, could be done by the parties involved by themselves.

How to Write a Legal Contract
You must put great thought into writing a contract as it is a legal document. One provision that not everyone agrees with could result in a legal battle, which is something everybody wants to avoid. A Cleaning contract, for example, would provide terms on how the cleaning company will handle their responsibilities and noncompliance of one provision should be avoided. For instance, in the relationship between a company and a cleaning business, there could be a damage or loss of property. The contract needs to outline who would shoulder the costs of the damage. In writing a legal contract, you must observe proper contract writing practice. This means all the necessary elements an agreement needs to have for it to be legally binding need to be there. In writing one, you would need to have a valid offer, an official acceptance, an intention of legal consequence, and a consideration. These legal elements are explained in detail in the next section.
What Are the Essential Elements of a Contract?
A contract is a legal document but not all contracts are enforceable in a court of law. This is because not everybody knows how to make a legally binding one. There are certain elements that need to be present in a contract for it to hold itself legally. Here are the elements that need to be present in a Legal Contract.
- Offer – The document needs to contain an offer to do something (e.g., lease offer, offer to deliver goods, etc.).
- Acceptance – There needs to be an official acceptance of the offer as well as all the terms stated in the contract. Only the things offered in the contract can be accepted.
- Intention of Legal Consequence – The parties involved need to acknowledge that they are entering a legal agreement and that they are obligated legally to adhere to all the terms stated in the contract.
- Consideration – This means that one party must be able to offer something in return.

What Is the Concept of a Contract?
A contract, in concept, is a protection for all the parties involved. This is the main point of the contract. As it is an agreement between two or more parties, there is bound to be misunderstandings that could result to disputes, possibly a legal one. That is why prior to making a contract, every party must be made aware of all the terms and provisions that are written in it and that everyone agrees with it. You would need to put contracts into writing. Depending on the nature of their businesses, they could enter into a purchase contract or a Service Contract.
